Mengimbas kenangan lalu Part 1

Disebabkan aku bosan + line tenet semakin mengancam + laptop baru serba canggih + teringat kenangan lama sebab gi tengok balik gambar2 lama = maka, aku decide untuk menulis entry tentang perkara2 yang aku tak sempat share dulu.

So, today i would like to share about my trip to Sydney last May 2013. 

It was quite a sudden decision to have my holiday there. I went there with my mom, my 3rd sis, my 5th sis and his chubby son. Decided to go to several OZ states but i didn't feel confident to do so coz my mom was not really well (though she said she is okay - na ah i don't buy her words ;D).

I would say it was a bless to have my students all over OZ states. Anyway, I am a lecturer teaching students (mostly sponsored) who will be flying to Australia & New Zealand. So, last year was my 6th year teaching students who are going to further their studies abroad. I have students who are going to fly to US, UK, Russia, Japan, Korea, Middle East, India, Ireland, German and that's it I guess. But I have been teaching students for OZ/NZ for almost 5 years last year. So, basically I have plenty students there. 

Went to Sydney for a week and stayed at my students' house. I have my cousin there too but then decided not to stay there coz it was quite a small house. Rented a car the whole week. I had too coz mom was not fit to walk or travel by public transport. Luckily since we rented the car for a week, it got cheaper. 

It was such a relieve coz the morning before my flight, I was still fighting to finish up marking my students' end of semester exam papers and not to mention..... I have LOADS of BUNDLES to do so! It was because I taught two codes and believe me I was like committing suicide jek! (expression saje tak berniat betul pun. hehehe).

Went for jalan-jalan, to Blue Mountain and many places (not to mention shopping!). Met my ex students - couple of batches too and had makan-makan. They are really good cooks! Superb!

All in all, it was such an escapism! Here are some of the photos that I could grab from this laptop.

Sekarang ni aku kat the curve with my beshfren a.k.a my twin - farrah diebaa. Back then in uni, I was called as the 'original' and she was called the 'spicy'. It was because our names' similarity - farrah. Nasib la she wanted to be calleh as diebaa and I obviously have no choice since my name is consists of only one word. But then, my former lecturer - mr abdel rahman had a problem in calling us and decided to call us by the 'name' of original and spicy; that actually taken from the kfc's preference of chickens ( and do mind that we are not chickens..hhehehe).

Back to the story - I met diebaa at 2pm at the curve. We went for a lunch at Sutra. Seriously, I recommend you guys to go there. I was like craving for Tom Yum yesterday and unfortunately went to this mamak shop at Tesco Klang. Rasanya (the taste) ?? Tak sedap langsung! Tapi disebabkanaku sangat lapar untuk dinner, I ate it anyway tapi tak abis pun. So, at this Sutra Restaurant, me and diebaa ordered two different sets. In a set, there are like a rice (fried/pineapple etc.) with 3 or more options of mini meals. Once we tasted it -> nyum-nyum!! Sangat sodap! And definitely the tom yum is delicious. So, lepas we had our lunch, we started on our intended discussion. Maka bekerjalah kami... Then, we lepak at baskin robins and continued our work and tidak sah jika tidak have a taste of jamoaca almond fudge...hehe... I think it's been ages since I hang out with friends at KL. Semenjak dah 'dewasa' and kerja ni..sangat jarang if compared ngan waktu kat uni dulu.. Me and diebaa were actually distracted with the scenario of the surroundings. Having seen the nowadays teenagers...the way they acted, dressed, did, talked etc. They are so different with our time back then. Tiba2 we got the idea nak buat research yang ada kenamengena ngan those things. hahaha...itu pun bleh jadi bahan untuk research (",)

Oh ya! While we are here (baskin robins), ada these small kids pegang balloon Tony Roma's!! arrgghh...tension la plak. Skang ni makanan menjadi teman sejati. I am quite stress with works and stuffs..and always craving for food...huhuhu...

I guess till entry meets entry...time to go home! ^_^

COOL PLACE TO CHECK OUT!

Few days ago, me, bb, khom n thiiah went to NZX sumwhere in PJ to have our 'so-called' lunch. Why 'so-called' lunch? Coz at that time, it was already 4pm nearly to 5pm. After all, we all tak peduli dah...coz sgt lapar n we didn't have our lunch yet. So, that day's lunch location was at NZX at Ara Damansara. Nama restaurant tu ialah FULLHOUSE. Concept restaurant tu ala2 Korean coz sama lah ngan citer korean yg Fullhouse tuh. Location restaurant tu agak terpencil coz NZX tu tak terkenal sgt lagi area tuh.

FOOD REVIEW: Makanan kat situ sedap n affordable. The quantity justifies the taste. Tak yah ckp pjg2 la..memang sedap n satisfied.

ENVIRONMENT: Peaceful, so purely divine (hahaha - suci daa) coz everything in white...Suitable for family and of coz very romantic for couples n partners... Sangat suci! (",)

So, just view the photos coz we were totally tiba2 jadi cam giler camera n giler bergmbr. So, if u guys ada peluang, do visit n try the food there - guarantee best!

And lupa nak beritahu, it's not just a cafe/restaurant, but ada gak sell various things yang cool n cun. As a result, me n thiiah dah ter'shop' skit kat situ..Agak bahaya untuk kaum perempuan la yek.. hehehe...

~time off at PD~

Last Saturday me, bibi n khom have decided abruptly to go to PD just to take a time off. Lagi2 kitorg saje nak celebrate Earth Hour kat PD. So, Sat noon kitorg bertolak to PD. We checked in and lepak for a while. Then, at 4.30pm we terus headed to the beach somewhere in front of Sri Malaysia Hotel. I suka beach kat situ sbb tak crowded and the sand is soo damn white. So peaceful there. But then, kitorang gi pasar malam kat situ and bought some food to chew. Di situlah I have found the most tasty "MILO ICE". Ntahla...tak tau nape tp memang sedap giler milo ice dia. Memang jauh beza ngan milo ice mamak but then i really loved it till i bought two of it. hehehee....Then gi beach n lepak2 tangkap gambar. Tiba2 kitorang teringin nk main layang-layang n we bought one. Kiranya kitorang ni terer gak la main layang-layang ni. Cuma kena tunggu angin kuat br leh naik tinggi.

Malam tu kitorang think PD will support the Earth Hour, but unfortunately they didn't. Kebetulan nearly 8.30pm tu kitorg mmg lapar giler..so kitorg gi la this restaurant. But then, restaurant tu lansung tak support the Earth Hour moment. Tak yah citer la kan...Pasar Malam kat situ sah2 tak support nye. Macam ne diorg nak tutup lampu kan..? Bisnes kelam kabut la...Overall, we can't see any part of PD yang support Earth Hour sebabnya kat area tu memang terang benderang. Quite upset though! :-( huhuhuhu....

Enuf said. Yang nyata we enjoyed our trip. Back from PD, kitorang singgah Putrajaya n again that nite we watched another movie kat Pyramid. We watched TALENTIME. Serious, all through the movie, it reminded us about HIM. So, i dedicate the song titled "O RE PIYA" to HIM with a wish - "i'll always luv ya" (poyo nye farrah ni!) hahhaha... During the movie, suara i, bibi n khom yang paling kuat mengomen n ketawa...siyes it's a fun movie but biasa la muvie Yasmin Ahmad kan suka tergantung. So, not satisfaction gotten from it. However, i'll post some photos of 3 anak dara yang gumbira di tepi laut. The rest of the photos, u guys can view in my fb or fs soon.

Bila kata kanan, dia ke kiri ~lol~

Today, i am supposed to head to the north to visit the 'loved' one. But unfortunately, itu hanya my dream and not his. Tapi takpe, masih ada yang sudi sebab siang tadi, one of my besfren-bibi yasmin had came all the way from kedah to visit me. (",) Plan asalnya adalah aku yang patut ke Kedah kerana hendak bertemu dengan DIA tapi apakan daya.... dah banyak kali plan yang di plan..tak pernahnya menjadi. Mungkin ketentuan Ilahi atau pun mungkin ketentuan manusia itu sendiri. Tapi takpe, aku sedar dan aku faham dan aku boleh terima segala-galanya dengan matang. Masa has taught me a lot n i do glad that i've learned lessons from all of it. And now, akhirnya aku dah berjaya membuat satu keputusan yang pada aku dapat memuaskan hati dan juga mengikut kehendak DIA. Biar aku jek yang tanggung...takpe..sebab mungkin aku masih waras (coz i am not pressured by anything except for my psycho consciousness) untuk fikir tentang apa yang patut dan relevan untuk dibuat.

So, basically siang tadi agak busy. Class seawal 8pm. Then, lepak2 buat kerja skit and at 1pm ada appointment ngan colleague utk set up final xm students. Petang plak, bibi dah sampai n kami balik rumah. After buat dressing, kitorg kelam kabut bersiap untuk event malam plak. Tonight, I was invited by the students to actually attend an opening ceremony for their event called I-CODE. So, as usual, aku akan menarik 2 orang rakan karibku untuk join skali. Basically mlm ni the students are having a celebreteen (sort of mcm talentime la). And I am supposed to replace Kesh as a jury. hahaha..sgt lawak coz aku sendiri pun nyanyi setakat dalam bathroom jek..alih-alih kena jadi jury. So far, the students are very talented especially when they played with the instruments. Malam tu menghiburkan but then sayang kerana kurang sambutan dari students sendiri. Nak kata hujan lebat giler petang tu pun tak tau lah...or kerana bus or kerana diorg mmg malas nak dtg jumaat mlm..hhmm... however, it was fun though there were flaws here n there..tapi tak kisah la..nothing is perfect aight! (",)

Then, after the event habis, kitorang dengan cepatnye merempit balik ke klang coz nak kejar tgk wayang kul 11.30 at tgv bkt tinggi. Masa kitorg merempit tu, dah kul 11 yek..ditambah lagi dengan jam di klang yang sememangnya tak mengenal waktu siang or mlm..asyik jam memanjang jek...But then, kitorg pompuan2 yg mereng ni sempat singgah balik umah untuk gi amik shawl n sweater sbb sah2 cinema mlm tu akan sejuk banget! Jangan tanya tentang tahap kelajuan kereta yang dipandu oleh ku pada malam itu despite of my condition yang "tak sempurna" (bak kata DR NG ~lol~). Kitorang sampai agak lewat skit but then managed to 'be' in the cinema just right on time the movie started. And yeah- we watched Confessions of Shopoholics. Movie ni best la especially to the women out there. Tapi though da movie best, ia agak menggerunkan diri ku tentang fakta the disadvantages of credit cards..huhuuhuh...siyes scary! All in all, it was fun nite for the three of us since dah lama tak buat keje2 giler ni after graduated dulu. Sabtu lak kitorg ada plan last minute gak. I'll post in the next entry ya! Journey -Part 2-

Kampung di penang dah byk berubah. Dulu, rumah sedaraku btul2 terasa kampung. Tapi sekarang – sgt mengecewakan. Tak caya, lihat gmbr nih. Ada ke dpn rumah kampung ada tembok besar china.. Suatu masa dulu, dpn rumah sedaraku ini ada tanah yang agak besar. Ada pokok mempelam, pokok cermai, pangkin utk lepak2 waktu ptg etc. Now, smuanya dah takde.

Tapi xpe, kitorg tetap buat pengembaraan mengaih buah cermai. Nyum-nyum ~masham~.

p/s: itu bukan aku.

Ini pemandangan kampung aku dari apartment level 20. Itu la kampung aku. Sebenarnya kampung aku ni betul2 tepi laut. Kira korang buka baju terus boleh terjun mandi laut la.. Tapi, itu dulu. Sekarang laut tu dah ditambak dan dibina apartment n flat and also expressway penang.

Dan ini post kak ilah *angan2 menjadi gadis kampong muslimah* (“,)

Parts yang aku nak share with u guys are the moments we went to shop for jeruk and also makan tokua renang. This is what my sis and others call it. U guys tgk jek la gambar2 ni yek. Tiada kata yg dapat menggantikan saat2 nyum-nyum kami

Ini adalah antara jeruk2 yang dijual di PASAR CHOWRASTA. Kalau u guys nak gi beli jeruk2 nih, u guys beli kat cina bawah tangga nye shop. Theirs are the best! Antara favourite aku adalah salak jeruk. Balik KL ari tu, suara aku hampir hilang dan menyerupai suara jantan yg macho - akibat mkn buah salak jeruk yg berlebihan. ~nyum-nyum~

Haaaa..ini lah yang sedap nih... Since aku kecik, kalo balik penang, mesti tak miss benda nih. This food is called as TOKUA RENANG. *kakakSku la yg ckp* Pastu kan, pekena lak ngan cendol mamak nih...memang ~nyum-nyum~ Gerai ni is situated at lorong kat area2 pasar chowrasta tu la.. Opposite MyDin but previously panggung Cathay.

Ini gerainya. Dan di bawah ini adalah gambar2 model yang diimport untuk publisity gerai ini. Ahakss...

Lihat adik comel ini (namanya boboy). Itu adalah cendol beliau yang kedua tau. Lazat sungguh gamaknya. Maklumlah cuaca panas.. Dan gambar sebelah ini adalah tourist jepun yang sedang mencuba tokua renang tersebut. Sungguh ayu cara pemakanan nya kan? Ahakssss..... (",)

Our journey after makan tokua renang+cendol bersambung. Aku tak pernah lansung pi Bukit Bendera. So, aku pun pi la. Masa tuh depa kata Bkt. Bendera tutup untuk renovation n modification but we just try our luck n heading there. Kira rezeki gue la coz Bkt. Bendera hanya dibuka separuh.
